Visual Explorations

Visual Explorations is a collection of smaller-scale projects and studies focused on material, illustration, and motion.

These works sit alongside my main branding and experiential projects, offering a closer look at how I experiment with visual language, storytelling, and form across different mediums.

Net As Hive is a riso-printed zine exploring ideas of community, connection, and collective identity through poetry, hand-drawn illustration, and material-based design.

Inspired by the structure of hives and networks, the project examines how individual elements come together to form fragile yet interdependent systems. Visuals and text are treated as equal components, with layout, pacing, and negative space carefully considered to support a slow, reflective reading experience.

The project was developed with riso printing constraints in mind, using limited color layers, texture, and misregistration as intentional design elements rather than imperfections. A laser-cut bookmark was created as a physical extension of the zine, reinforcing the idea of connection through material interaction and tactile detail.
